Connecting, Equipping, and Inspiring: Our Experience as a Vendor at the OCHEC Conference

Last Updated : April 28, 2026

We're excited to be part of the OCHEC Homeschool Convention on May 1 & 2 at Redeemer University-Ontario's largest Christian homeschool gathering. This event is more than just a conference; it's a meaningful space where families come together to learn, grow, and feel supported in their homeschooling journey.

A Hub for Homeschooling Families
The OCHEC Convention is known for its strong focus on education and "home discipleship." Organized by a dedicated volunteer team, the event is designed to equip and encourage parents through a wide range of workshops and keynote sessions. Whether families are just beginning or have years of experience, there's something here for everyone.

From sessions on critical thinking and organizing homeschool spaces to practical advice on balancing work and home education, the conference offers relevant, real-world guidance. Beyond the sessions, one of the most valuable aspects is the sense of community-connecting with like-minded families who share similar values and goals.
The Vendor Hall: Where Learning Comes to Life
As a first time vendor, we're especially excited about the exhibitor hall, which serves as a central hub for discovering new curriculum, tools, and resources. It's a place where parents can ask questions, see products in action, and find solutions tailored to their children's needs.

Being face-to-face with homeschooling families allows us to have meaningful conversations about what's working, what challenges they're facing, and how we can better support their learning environments.
Bringing Typing Skills into the Homeschool Environment
At our booth, we're showcasing the homeschool version of All The Right Type-a program built to make typing simple, structured, and effective for learners of all ages.

Originally designed for schools, this program has been thoughtfully adapted for homeschool use. Its learning-sequenced methodology allows students to progress at their own pace while building strong, lasting keyboarding skills. Parents can easily monitor progress, review lesson results, and even reinforce proper posture-all from one platform.

In today's digital world, typing isn't just a helpful skill-it's essential. From writing assignments to future career readiness, proficiency at the keyboard plays a major role in a student's success.
Why Homeschool Families Love All The Right Type
We've designed our homeschool program to be flexible, practical, and accessible:
  • Over 600 expert-built lessons and interactive games
  • Customizable learning for different ages and skill levels
  • One subscription with one admin and up to five learners
  • Ad-free, secure environment
  • Monthly or yearly plan options
It's a straightforward, no-nonsense approach that helps learners build confidence and independence while giving parents the oversight they need.
More Than a Conference
What makes the OCHEC Convention special isn't just the workshops or resources-it's the people. The encouragement, shared experiences, and sense of purpose create an environment that leaves families feeling refreshed and motivated.

We're grateful to be part of this community and look forward to connecting with so many dedicated homeschooling parents and teens. If you're attending, be sure to stop by our booth-we'd love to meet you, answer your questions, and help you bring effective typing instruction into your homeschool.
